Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Soulyn LLC ("Soulyn," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Soulyn mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Soulyn, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Identify as a woman or non-binary person aligned with a women-centered space
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law
• Not have had a previous Soulyn account terminated for policy violations

Soulyn is designed as a women-centered community. We reserve the right to remove any account that does not reflect this community intent, in our sole discretion.

By using Soulyn, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements above.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate, current, and complete information in your profile
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

You may not create an account on behalf of another person, share your account with others, or operate multiple accounts. Soulyn reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

4. Community Conduct & Interactions

Soulyn is a space for genuine connection. You agree to use the Service in accordance with our Community Guidelines and to treat all members with respect.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users
• Share sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
• Use Soulyn for commercial solicitation, scamming, or spam
• Collect or scrape data from other users without consent
• Circumvent safety features, reporting tools, or moderation systems
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

Soulyn operates in good faith to moderate content and enforce these rules, but we cannot guarantee that all harmful content will be detected or removed immediately.

5. In-Person Meetups

We strongly encourage you to:

• Meet in public places for initial meetings
• Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going
• Trust your instincts — leave any situation that feels unsafe
• Never share your home address with someone you do not know and trust
• Review our full Safety Policy before meeting anyone in person

Soulyn is not responsible for the conduct of its users offline or for any harm, loss, or injury arising from in-person meetings arranged through the Service.

6. No Background Check Disclaimer

Soulyn does not perform criminal background checks on users. Verification features (email, phone, selfie) are designed to reduce fake accounts, not to verify criminal history, identity documents, or user intentions.

The presence of a "verified" badge on a profile does not mean Soulyn has confirmed that user's full identity, background, or safety. You should exercise your own judgment in all interactions.

7. Spiritual Content & AI Disclaimer

Soulyn offers astrology readings, tarot features, natal chart analysis, AI-generated soul readings, and other spiritual tools. All such content is provided for entertainment, personal reflection, and general wellness purposes only.

Soulyn's spiritual and AI content:

• Is not medical, mental health, psychological, legal, or financial advice
• Does not constitute a professional diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment
• Should not be used as the basis for any significant life decision
• Is generated algorithmically or by AI and may not be accurate or applicable to your individual situation

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or call a crisis hotline. Soulyn is not a substitute for professional care.

8. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to community conduct rules above, you may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity of any kind

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

9. Reporting & Enforcement

Soulyn provides in-app reporting and blocking tools. We review reports and take action, which may include warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of accounts found to violate our policies.

We reserve the right to take enforcement action in our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide notice before taking action, to disclose the details of our review process, or to restore access after termination.

Reporting a user does not guarantee any particular outcome. Soulyn cannot guarantee that harmful content or users will be detected or removed in a particular timeframe.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your profile and personal data will be removed from active systems, subject to our data retention obligations and our Privacy Policy.

Soulyn reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees.

11. Subscriptions & Billing

Soulyn offers paid subscription tiers (Sister+ and Circle Gold). All subscriptions are managed through Apple's in-app purchase system. By subscribing, you also agree to our Subscription Terms.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Payment is charged through your Apple ID account
• Soulyn does not directly handle payment information
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies and must be requested through Apple
• Soulyn may change subscription prices or features with reasonable notice

12. No Guarantees

Soulyn makes no guarantees regarding:

• The quality, authenticity, or intentions of any user
• The formation of friendships, connections, or relationships of any kind
• The accuracy or relevance of matches, compatibility scores, or astrology content
• The safety of any user or interaction
• The continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the Service
• Any particular outcome from using the Service

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Soulyn LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any conduct or content of other users
• Any in-person meetings arranged through the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any spiritual, AI, or compatibility content provided through the Service

In no event shall Soulyn's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to Soulyn in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soulyn LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States applicable to agreements made and fully performed therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in a venue mutually agreed upon by both parties.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
