Beta Agreement
Thank you for being an early member of Soulyn. Beta testers help us build a better app. By using Soulyn during the beta period, you acknowledge and agree to the terms on this page, in addition to our full Terms of Service.
The App May Break
Soulyn is in active development. During the beta period, you may encounter:
- Bugs, crashes, or unexpected behavior
- Features that are incomplete, broken, or inconsistent
- Performance issues or slow load times
- Push notifications that do not work as expected
- Matching, messaging, or astrology features that behave incorrectly
- Errors in AI-generated content
This is expected and normal for a beta. We appreciate your patience and your reports.
Features May Change or Be Removed
Any feature available during beta may be:
- Changed significantly before public launch
- Temporarily disabled for maintenance or rework
- Removed entirely from the final product
- Moved to a different subscription tier
Access to a feature during beta does not guarantee that feature will be available, free, or unchanged in the future. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.
Data May Be Reset
During beta, it is possible that:
- Profile data, match history, messages, or other data may be reset or lost
- Firestore collections or data structures may be restructured, causing data loss
- Accounts may need to be recreated
We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary data resets, but cannot guarantee data persistence during the beta period. Do not rely on Soulyn as a primary storage for any important information.
Beta Access Can Be Revoked
Soulyn reserves the right to revoke beta access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Policy violations
- Abuse of beta access
- Technical limitations
- Decisions about beta program size or scope
Revocation of beta access does not entitle you to any compensation or data portability guarantee.
Feedback & Usage Rights
We welcome and encourage your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. By submitting feedback to Soulyn through any channel (in-app, email, or otherwise), you grant Soulyn a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, incorporate, and act on that feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
You are not required to provide feedback to participate in beta.
Confidentiality Expectations
Beta features, UI design, unreleased functionality, and other non-public aspects of Soulyn are confidential. Please do not:
- Share screenshots or recordings of unreleased features publicly
- Write public reviews or posts about beta-specific behavior or bugs
- Discuss beta features in ways that could mislead the public about the final product
You may talk about Soulyn generally and share your experience of it as a concept — just please keep specific beta details, unreleased features, and bugs private until we launch publicly.
No Guarantees
Beta access is provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind. Soulyn makes no guarantees about the beta experience, the final product, or any particular outcome from participating in beta testing. Our full limitation of liability applies to all beta use.
